Not going to lie, seeing Lance Stephenson shoot 28% from the field and 33% from 3 during preseason whilst Gordon Hayward has been very good, namely yesterday, well, it puts a smile on my face.
Preseason, i know. Max contract, i know.

Lakers are giving up 112.5 so far.
Last year the worst team, Philly, gave up 109. All time worst type defense is possible here, lol.

I haven't watched any of the Lakers, and don't really intend to outside of some obligatory Kobe love, but that must be a shockingly frustrating team to coach.
Such an average roster.

Celtics likely to waive Will Bynum.

Re: Around the NBA 16: Summer time
So, in the very rare possibility that the Bulls don't win the title this season, who do you have?
Early, i know, but that's the point. Who is your prediction?
I am going with OKC.
Ibaka, Adams, McGary, Collison & Perkins is underrated as the best front court in the league.
Westbrook, Jackson, Durant, Ibaka, Adams.
That would be my starting 5, and it's damn near got everything you need.

Shabazz Napier is already the Heat's best PG.
The kid knows how to play pick and roll basketball. He has a nice future in this league.

Bulls should waive Brooks and pick him up.

I think the dark horse key for them is the development of Adams.
Outside of them, I could see the Clippers coming out of the west. The Spencer Hawes signing was underrated this offseason. They have a legit championship big man rotation and Hawes compliments both BG and Jordan.

Clippers are never going to win anything with CP3 leading them. It's just not going to happen. He's not built for it.
Spurs are coming out of the west. Way too deep, talented and incredibly well coached. If they would of signed Gasol, it would of been no contest.

Spurs are the team to beat at this moment. Defending champions, a deep team, and have the best coach in the league.

Cavs Monitoring Dion Waiters' Shot Selection, Adjustment To Balanced Roster
FGA / 36 Minutes
Irving: 18
Waiters: 17
LeBron: 14.7
Love: 14.4
Not ideal, but its working so far.

I really like the Thunder too and they are the most talented but they always suffer some critical injury that holds them back. I have to give it to the Spurs. I think they will toy with the Cavs in the finals circa 2007.

Hayward also got a really nice block on Kobe. It was hilarious.
Stu Lantz was in the middle of saying Kobe can get his shot whenever he wanted on Hayward and then *blam!* rejected his slow as molasses turn around right in his face.
I am not even a Hayward fan, but it was comedy gold.

This was a really, unusual/awkward, interview with Jo that I just read. Some tidbits in there though.

These are probably the most insightful aspects to me anyway:
What’s the most pissed off he’s (Thibs) ever been at you?
He gets pissed off a LOT. But he never makes any clash we have public, and he calms me down a lot as well. He knows when to let me vent.
Sure it's one little tidbit about a coach, but it goes to show it's not only Thib's who can get agro at times, sometimes players can become frustrated and vent, and it's Thib's who allows them to do so, and moves on. Plus, I love the fact that Thib's to a fault will never ever say negative things about his players to the media - bad for us in terms of entertainment, but it's great for the team.
I think we're quick at judging Thib's as a coach and as a person, but we only get to see a fraction of what he is like, and I'd bet the aspects we do see of him through the media isn't what he is truly like overall as a man behind closed doors with the team, whether it be good or bad.
The most amusing part of the article:
What’s your weirdest fan interaction?
There was one guy who had a tattoo of me on his inner thigh. It was very strange. And [teammate] Ronnie Brewer thought it’d be funny to bring him into the locker room before the game. Thankfully, I was already dressed. Everyone was dying laughing, except me. And Thibs came in, was wondering what he was doing there, and just went crazy. The guy said his two favorite people in the world were me and Michael Jackson.
Why so serious?

How about predictions for Westbrook's efficiency while Durant is out? He's played something like 94% of his career minutes with KD.
I say .534.

Boozer got blocked by the rim!
And yeah I know it's preseason but the Lakers looks unbelievably worse than the sixers.

That's what he usually does WITH KD in the lineup. I'm thinking more so in the Allen Iverson area. High volume, but low efficiency. Around 51-52%
It will be interesting to see if he does better than that.
