I guess that was a fake rumor. He seemingly wouldn't be bad as the 13th guy though.

A good example of when relying on stats goes wrong.

The old, I only like stats when they support my view post. Got it.

I don't think Dunleavey is the team's best defender. But he's our best proven shooter, our most reliable scoring option from the wing. He's tall, he has a high basketball i.q. (not just saying that cause he's white) and is a year familiar with Thibs' system.

If you don't think Dunleavy is the team's best defender, then you disagree with the stats as well. So your point about Red is a bit hypocritical and a bit absurd. And unfortunately your claim that Dunleavy is not a moveable piece comes across as silly. He's a 34 year old guy who's been injured during long chucks of the season for like half his career, his PER stinks, he's always been a step too slow, and his defense has been passable but nothing to write home about. He's also an expiring. We got him at $3 mil per season last year for a reason. Please don't be a typical sheep Bulls fan who buys into whatever scrubs the organization throws our way and thinks the scrubs should be in the core, too. There is nothing in Dunleavy's resume to suggest he's an immoveable piece. He's been 7th / 8th man fodder for quite some time now, and the future will only slow him down further.

It's very strange, the Bulls team is accused of core loving (despite only 3 players with continous service in the Thibs era, very low especially for a playoff team) but there is a tendency to become deeply attached to bench players. :dontknow:

Not directed at you, Kyrv, but core loving is something you can be accused of? I just think that fans who don't like a one or more of their favorite team's players ascribe some silly "the FO is too in love with 'their guys'" thing.
Until the actual truth is more important to you than what you believe, you will never recognize the truth.

Remain options:
1.Ellington:
Good shooter.
2.Sessions:
Price may be out of range, but can shot-create and ballhandle.
3.J.Crawford:
If he can maintain lasr season's performance with Bos,then yes.
4.Brand:
Great vet backup big,but seems to return Atl.
5.Delfino:
Shooting,exprience,some ballhandle,but injury prone.
6.Moore:
Athletic,length,defense,some shots.
7.Radjuica:
Legit length and width in paint area, not so slowly.
8.Franklin:
Athletic,length,some upside as a locker?
9.E.Clark:
Athletic,little 3pts,richman's malcolm tgomas.
10.Ayon:
Mobility,good at offense,hustle player.

Because he can shoot the ball and we could use that extra 3pt shooting.
