Maybe it was the 1-19 in FIBA play.

Here's how I will break it down.

November/December: 16ppg 4rpg 6.5apg 41%fg 32%3pt 80%ft 1spg 0.3bpg

January to April: 21ppg 4.1rpg 7.7apg 44%fg 35%3pt 82%ft 1.4spg 0.5bpg

Hope to see his Playoff numbers as:

24ppg 4rpg 8.2apg 45%fg 37%3pt 85%ft

I'll just quote my post from a similar thread a couple of months ago...

Jo Jo English wrote:I see an inconsistent start to the season followed by him getting stronger and more polished as the All-Star break approaches. I think he finishes the season strong and performs well in the playoffs.

Season stats: 19.7 ppg, 6.8 apg, 3.5 rpg, .440 FG%, .320 3P%, 34 mpg, 72 games played.
Playoffs stats: 23.5 ppg, 7.5 apg, 4.4 rpg, .435 FG%, .340 3P%, 38 mpg.

In his small sampling from last year while very rusty his PER36s were...
18.4 pts, 5 asts, 3.7 rebs on 35% FG% and 34% 3pt%

New key players(Gasol, McDermott), multiple great passing big men, an upgrade over Boozer with Gasol, added outside shooting with McDermott(not sure Mirotic will see much time with Rose on the court). Knocking off the rust will improve his FG% which will move his PPG up, bigger/better front line leads to less rebounds and I think easy drop off passes to Gasol will get Rose 1-2 extra assists a game.

My overall guess for the season with rusty stats tossed in and Rose being healthy most of the year.
20 pts
7 asts
3 reb
42% FG%
35% 3pt%

Most of the projections I have seen here make for a damn expensive middle of the road point guard. Just sayin'...

Let's hope he surpasses expectations. $20M per is a lot for D.J. Augustin type numbers.
I know, I know, but the following season he's gonna blah, blah, blah....
Yeah, reality, it's a bitch sometimes.

I'll be glad when the endless speculation ends. Can we put an expiration date on it?
Cause I don't think I wanna still be reading endless threads debating this.
Can we just say, the All-Star break, and then, it's "what we see is what we got"?

What do you all think his mpg will be (minutes per game, not miles per gallon)? A couple people mentioned it but that's what I think will affect his stats the most. Personally I have no idea what to expect. Thibs will want to ride him if he's healthy and playing well, but I'd imagine GarPax will want to protect their investment.

reference from NBA 2k14 with current roster, also MC3 numbers are 17PPG and Bulls are best power ranking team in NBA 8 weeks in row. So it adds something.
