Predict the Bulls start thru November

Post#1 » by johnnyvann840 » Mon Oct 20, 2014 2:56 pm

Brutal ..17 games. 12 on the road. FIVE ROAD BACK TO BACKS (WTF?!!) Pretty brutal travel schedule to start the season. Rose shaking off the rust. Pau getting acclimated. New faces on the bench and two rookies likely in the rotation. Don't freak out if we're 8-9, or right around the .500 mark going into December.

Wed, Oct 29 @ NY Knicks
Fri, Oct 31 vs Cleveland
Sat, Nov 1 @ Minnesota

At first I thought there were 4 back to backs (bad enough), but we have the Halloween into Nov 1st back to back, next week. Making FIVE back to backs in the first 17 games? Crazy.

12-5 (if Rose makes it through the month) at worst.

If you're right, I think we win 60 games this year.

We're going to have an absurd number of close games just because of our D, so I can't make an exact prediction. But hell Ill go with 10-7.

I count 13 games that the team should win, but they are bound to lose 1 or 2 games where they should have won. I'll say 11-6 going into December.

It is good in a way they spend all the energy in the first month when they are rested. This is better than having the same set of games in March when they are more fatigued.

I think Bulls win about 12 games, but they won't be easy. I do think though that the team will come out into the season sprinting instead of slow like usual.

9-8. Tough schedule, new bodies to integrate.

The Bulls then go 51-14 for the rest of the season, to win 60.

I tend to agree that I would much rather all these back to backs early and have the Circus Trip and get a lot of road games over with. Especially nice this year is the teams on the Circus Trip are more favorable than usual with SAC, DEN, UTA, and Boston

Thu, Nov 20 @ Sacramento
Fri, Nov 21 @ Portland
Mon, Nov 24 @ Utah
Tue, Nov 25 @ Denver

Sun, Nov 30 @ Brooklyn

No Warriors, Suns, Spurs, Rockets, or Mavs. Sacto, Denver, Utah, then finishing with Boston. Brooklyn will tough at the tail end, though.

Yeah, 10-7 sounds about right.

Just a guess, but I think it'll be something like this:

7-4 on the road
5-1 at home

*if healthy.

The Bulls didn't start so hot last season, but they were 5-0 at home (w/Rose)....and he wasn't playing well.

For those wondering, under Thibs, the Bulls have won almost 89% (55-7) of their home games, w/Rose.

That is INSANE. Sucks that he's only played 62 home games since Thibs has been here, but the record incredible.

12-5 or 11-6 Seem like a fair assumption. I don’t see us doing better than 12-5 but if we rest out players on the road, I could see us doing as worse as 10-7.
