This looks pretty up to date. Didn't realize Dalembert isn't with the Knicks anymore, maybe he's a more 'conservative' option the Bulls would consider. Vitor Faverani is really solid as well.

Yes please. He's the kind of project our team could use. Sign him cheap for this year and next and see what he can do with our coaching staff and vet leaders.

Don't see why not, cant hurt really. Insurance for us and maybe just maybe he could prove useful next year if he sticks around somehow.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Sure is, I really like him too. Just finished his season in the CBA. I've always liked him, really talented big.

The Bulls are stupid not to pick him up. We have no depth in the Front Court at all, our big men that are playing got outrebounded by one man yesterday. This is ridiculous to read through people thinking our team is too good for players when the IQ of our current roster is subpar.
Did anyone actually watch Hinrich (he is still here)
Did anyone realize that Gasol played extremely SOFT yesterday to include he got his shot blocked by a Guard named Jamal Crawford?

I say they should release Mohammad and sign Nate and McGee. The way our season is headed we have nothing to lose as we are losing players left and right. The time is now to make moves and start Snell. Dunleavy Jr. did not take a shot yesterday.

Both sides have to want each other. I'm sure the Bulls will be interested as they have with other players. They have to want to come here, that's the issue. We haven't exactly been the destination some think we are. Especially not with the injuries and so-so play. Many expected the Bulls to be a force, and while their record is good enough for 2nd in the East, it's not as attractive as Cleveland or many of the West teams are.

He's a headcase. Also, if he was really talented, he'd probably not be in the CBA. No one wanted to deal with him last offseason. No one forgets "I'm Andray Blatche, fool!".

Headcase is a term often thrown around. J.R. Smith is a headcase. He's also a starter on a contender. Dennis Rodman was a headcase; he was a starter on multiple championship teams.

Andray Blatche has developed a bit of a stigma in this regard - I can think of any credible incident to point to the fact (actually I just remembered that team he tried to get a triple-double, but he was young, and to be fair it was hilarious) but his game speaks for itself. He's an extremely talented offensive big-man that can play the 4 or 5, and it was only last season he was playing 20mpg for a playoff team (I'm pretty sure Brooklyn was rumored to be looking into bringing him back, as well).

You have to weigh the pro's and con's, but I definitely think he's worth considering.

Here is a list of free agents. Many of players are hurt, old, or just plain bad.

You realize he's hardly played on the two past teams he's been on and they've been horrible? He's horrible despite his dunks. This isn't NBA Jam.

He's not coming to be a 5th big. He's going somewhere he can get a lot of minutes and hope to get a decent contract next season.

McGee could be a starter here. I think he would outplay Noah and definitely Gasol (he does not box out AT ALL!)

He would be a good pick up IMO. We need to get more athletic. I'd like to see him protecting the rim and catch lobs that Noah would have to catch and bring down before coming up with a layup. I want dunks in the pant.

And from that FA list....I like Peyton Siva. He's a nat on defense, and athletic.

I'd take a chance at him, but he may cause whatever's left of Thibs hair to fall off.

I doubt he'd want to sign to be the Bulls fifth big man. There are other teams - the Clippers come to mind - where he might actually play.

most of those "bone-head" plays by JaVale are over-blown....they tend to happen when he tries to handle the ball or he just doesn't play strong while hoping the ref bails him out...and he's so lanky and athletic it looks really bad....

I think JaVale might be the reason Karl resigned in Denver :) The Nugz traded away Nene to get him.
