OT: Michael Jordan's Politics

Post#1 » by BarneyGumble » Thu Mar 26, 2015 7:00 pm

Hey Bulls fans, Jazz fan here who respects the 90's Bulls (for obvious reasons). I thought I'd share this article I came across. I like politics and the NBA so I found it interesting. I never knew anything about the political side of Jordan before. Enjoy.

I think it was out and out knowledge that he has supported Obama. Besides that, I'm not really sure what this article tells us about his politics except to say that, until his Obama support, he kept his politics personal.

Jordan's politics are not "Red" or "Blue", but "Green".

I'm a massive Jordan fan, but I really couldn't care less what his political leanings are. It's not really something that plays any part in whether I'm a fan of someone or not. For example, personally speaking, I see conservatism as a disease of mankind, but I respect that others are going to have their own opinions and I don't hold it against them, just as I wouldn't want anyone to completely not associate with me because of my political opinions.

I agree. And his politics, his business.
