Portis is talented. I think he has a high ceiling relative to his draft spot. He was projected as a late lotto (12-14 range). Dont know how he fell.

BTW Taj Gibson has a longer wing-span and reach compared to Portis. There were handful of players who were projected as lotto or late lotto who fell.

Who fell other than Portis, that didnt have a legit reason? Looney fell because of his hips and another problem I cant remember. Looking at the draft, the only falls from the lotto-late lotto were Winslow, Portis, and Looney. And Idont consider Oubre a fall on draft day.

I dont know where you saw portis projected to be late lotto by the time draft rolled around. He was projected mostly 16-19 and yeah i would consider Oubre as somebody who fell out of the lottery.

I was surprised to see him too, but at least people can't say these networks don't give one a second chance.

Really don't understand the lakers, I would rather have Koufos than Hibbert even at close the same salary, they're gonna get hibbert at twice what koufos is getting from sacto.

Lakers want to preserve their cap space for next year. Hibbert is an expiring. He's also a bigger name.

Next year the Lakers only have Young, Russel and Randle under contract. They will likely try to trade young and get 2-3 max guys next offseason.

Jordan has no offensive skills beyond the rim and likely never will, including free throws. Similar to Tyson Chandler.

Asking someone to hit more than 1 out of 2 free throws each time is a whine?

Similar to Tyson Chandler? He made 72% of his free throws last season. Jordan couldn't even get past 40%. Not even comparable.

Hibbert is a one year rental. Lakers signed so-so free agents and taking on contracts is a bad idea. Hibbert makes much more sense than Koufos.

Is that all he did, 'asked him' to make more free throws. Do you think Dallas doesn't care about this?

I'm sure they do, but I'm betting they will try to use more tact, maybe a new shooting coach to work with him, rather just berating a guy.

You're acting as if Jordan is the victim here, being bullied by the meanie that is Chris Paul.

CP3's just trying to win and get the best out of his players. That's what leaders do.

If Doc and Paul can't even keep DeAndre Jordan in the circle, good luck with JaVale McGee and Lance Stephenson.

In fact, although both Knicks and Kings missed some bigger name players due to silly reasons, such as not offering max to Monroe,or the storm between Karl and Cousins, vut they did great damage control and made some bargain deals.

Ro.Lopez is solid both sides,D.Williams is worth a 2yr mle bet, Afflalo 8m per year,OQuinn is the one under the radar.

As for Kings, effortlessly reached deals regardless of being turned down with higher price-offer,Marco Koufos and Rondo plus their own talents,Karl has too mch in hands to make excuse.

Kings would have been better served trading for Lawson imo.

No one can keep Lance & JaVale in the circle. They're A-grade clowns.

I think the Clippers will sign Kendrick Perkins to the minimum.

The Kings signed some decent guys. The Pick can be ours again

I expect the Nuggets, Lakers Wolves and Blazers to be worse than the Kings this year in the West. Maybe Utah. Kings just need to finish with the number 11 pick.

Not with that defeatist attitude.

Same thing people said about Rasheed and Dennis Rodman.
