Flow..as in meaning all just Derrick Rose creating and finishing? Contrary to popular belief its not making the offense any better.

There is this belief that the Bulls are a bunch of guys that are constantly moving, constantly cutting etc etc :banghead:

That's so far from the truth. There is still too much standing around watching. But Like Ive been saying all this team, this team is consistently inconsistent.

That second half looked exactly like how its always been. No movement other than the pick and roll. Hero ball in the 4th. I don't see what everyone is talking about that it somehow changes when Jimmy and Pau aren't there.

You need just one really good off-ball guy to make the offense move better. Obviously 2-3 is better than 1...but we have a unique dynamic.

I see a lineup of:

Rose
Moore
Dunleavy
Doug
Taj

winning us games in the minutes they play together. Even with all the injuries.

Dunleavy's movement also frees up Doug and moves him to the right places.

You're absolutely insane. That's a lineup that barely competes with the 76ers.

It's like God has been trying to tell this team to tank for 5 years now. Why else send his angels to injure our star players every year? God is trying to tell us something but our FO refuses to listen. They're like a bunch of Jonases.

This should've happened at least once in the last 4 years. This is the perfect opportunity to retool but we know it won't happen.

Yes, they would likely know by now. Hopefully they say something soon so we don't have to speculate why they wouldn't announce

No one is really saying anything yet other than he is ruled out to play tonight.

It sounds a lot more likely to be a typical sprained knee other than something else.

He traveled to Minneapolis, so I'm inclined to think both that -fortunately- they thought it's not serious and that -unfortunately- they expect him to play soon, so they don't want him to go back to Chicago.

We'll know soon either way.

I agree totally. Rose is a volume (inefficient) scorer who needs the ball, Jimmy is a volume scorer (more efficient) who needs the ball, and Gasol (inconsistent with efficiency) is a scorer who needs the ball. While all three are willing passers from time to time (Gasol is an excellent passer, Butler has become solid, and Rose vacillates from good to below average) they are ball-dominant players and the rest of the team isn't made up of enough good shooters/finishers to compliment them. It's no wonder why Hoiberg's ball-movement spacing system hasn't really appeared much of the season. For multiple seasons many of the players on this team are conditioned to playing with a ball-dominant star (Rose, Butler, Gasol). Ironically the least offensive player on the roster (Noah) in terms of scoring is the most willing participant of moving the ball and moving without it. Unfortunately his offensive prowess fell off a cliff thanks to injuries. Of the top three most important players on the roster, Butler is the player who can succeed the most without the ball as he is an excellent defender and moves well without the ball (when his shot isn't falling). Gasol and Rose are below average defenders and due to age and injuries aren't keen on constant movement.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

And you are pooping from your mouth.

Thats not a big minutes lineup. Doug at PF is a situational lineup borne out of not having Pau / Niko and Noah for more than a week.
For love, not money.

Once again, what does Jen Swanson bring to the table? Two players come back after injuries to be re-injured within the following week.
