I think this is a very fair round-up.

JJJ shot 4-20 and Memphis still beat the Warriors.
They continue to look like sh#%.
Just look at Memphis' lineup and the list of injuries.

I just need them and the Lakers to keep losing until the trade deadline.

Do you think they trade Kuminga? He's their best trade asset.

Today he scored 20 points (9-18 shooting) and had 11 rebounds. I haven't watched him that closely, but he seems to be playing well lately.

He and Moody are both pissed because they can't get a consistent role.
Kerr keeps putting his vets above them and Kuminga even went to the media about it.
Moody is staying quiet but he is mad.

Ironically Kerr was the one who committed to Draymond when he had David Lee and now he won't make time and solid roles for his young guys. Kuminga has thoroughly outplayed Wiggins this year and Kerr is still jerking his minutes around.

I think if either is moved it is to get an upgrade over Wiggins who has been awful since their Finals run. I could also see them going for a big man. Looney hasn't looked great and they have no size.

Kuminga has been balling lately, I'd love for the Bulls to pick him up.

Kuminga played 29 minutes tonight, 30 against the Bucks and 24 against the Bulls. That's not bad.

It seems like Kerr listened to his complaints and started playing him more...? Moody on the other hand still doesn't play much and recently got hurt.

I'm not sure what the Warriors can do to improve their team. Trading Kuminga, Moody or picks for who? Zach won't help them enough.

From the athletic

You also won’t see Jonathan Kuminga or Moses Moody, two young Golden State Warriors players who could be used to facilitate a deal for a star player. I don’t think the Warriors have ruled out moving them, but my impression, at least currently, is that they aren’t actively including them in potential trade packages either. League sources believe new general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. values both at a very high level and would love to hold onto them if he can, even if he also understands one or both may need to be the mechanism to facilitate much-needed changes with the slumping Warriors. It’s possible one or both of Kuminga and Moody feature on future iterations of this board, but that’s the reasoning I used to hold them off for now.

Would DDR and Vuc for Harris, Korkmaz, and Bamba interest the Sixers at all?

Sixers would get a good scoring compliment (DDR) and much better back up big to help Joel out (Vuc).

Bulls would get a starting level PF, a "shooter" who doesn't seem to play much on the 76ers, and a backup big body.

Bamba getting significant minutes on the Bulls may be a disaster, but the other moves could unlock more of what everyone wants to see with the semi youth movement (more time and touches for the ascending players on the Bulls).
You can buy manure outside, from better grazing grounds for your bulls, but if you never cultivate your own feces to flower better weeds you will always look to other side of a fence. - Koristossu

What is with Klutch Sports and their players boldly asking out? Dejounte Murray is now welcoming a trade back to the Spurs?

I am all for empowerment of players, but I think Klutch is going to start fires soon with owners. The trend is the biggest concern.

Don't worry someone is buying a team when their career is over.

Klutch is annoying with these tactics from team perspective but Klutch is all about maximizing profit and empowering for players. IMO not too different what ownership does

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Its pretty much a guarantee Lebron will somehow get his hands on one. Most likely Vegas.

But to me, Klutch is actually moving different than Lebron. Lebron never asked out of anywhere. He fulfilled all of his contract obligations.

At this rate, by the time Lebron owns a team, star rookies will ask out because their best friend plays elsewhere or because the team is in the lottery.

No, it wouldn't.

The Sixers don't want to take on any long term salary as they are projected to have a ton of capspace this offseason, taking on Vuc would mess that up. Also, they are very high on Harris and for earlier reports have a high asking price for him.

Bill Simmons had some trade ideas to fix the Warriors, one involved the Bulls.

Trade 1:
Wiggins, Kuminga, unprotected 1st for Siakam

Trade 2:
Draymond to Lakers
Rui + 2029 1st to Bulls
Vucevic to Warriors

Both those deals are terrible for the Warriors and kills their future, lol. Would be great for the Bulls to get Rui and a 1st for Vucevic I doubt he has value like that though.

Ok, I wasn't going to post this because I know it will immediately get shot down because it involves Coby and Caruso, but...

Bulls receive:

Dejounte Murray
Clint Capela
AJ Griffin

Hawks receive:

Coby White
Alex Caruso
Nikola Vucevic
Dalen Terry

Zach doesn't seem to be going anywhere (whether that's due to his contract or not), I think a Murray/LaVine pairing would actually be really good, plus the Bulls swap Vuc with Capela giving the Bulls rim protection and rebounding and roll the dice with Griffin whilst also giving Pat a bigger role on offence.

The Hawks bolster their defence and add a young piece in Coby, Vuc can play along side either Jalen Johnson or Okongwu (or Pascal if they make that trade)

Bulls then follow up with a trade with Philly.

Bulls receive:

Marcus Morris Sr.
Robert Covington
Mo Bamba

76ers receive:

DeMar DeRozan
Torrey Craig

Bulls get additional bench veterans that can also start if needed and gives Chicago some more size.

Philly gets a win now vets in DeRozan and Craig without losing any of their capspace this coming offseason.

Rotation ends up as such:

Murray/Carter/Ball
LaVine/Ayo
Griffin/RoCo/Phillips
Williams/Morris/Taylor
Capela/Drum/Bamba

Bulls still have an open spot to sign another guard if they wish, Griffin can also play some guard minutes.

Could still make another move, maybe to get Kuzma, but would likely have to include Pat or Griffin.

Aaaaaand flame away!
Go Bulls... I guess!? Right!?

Return to Chicago Bulls
