That’s what they get for not trading him when they had the chance
I'm not here to argue.

I'll be optimistic that the surgery is successful and he comes back healthy!

Sham's tweet says that Zach consulted Klutch when he made this decision. It makes me think that he could've gutted it out and waited until the off season, but decided not too.

Maybe he did it to avoid Detroit, but I doubt it. Detroit probably isn't the only team the Bulls have talked to about him. I guess he just wanted to stay here? Or he feels that he'll recover, have a good off season and then show what he can do next year?

They’ll use this as another excuse and run it back again

I can't help but wonder the same thing. I don't understand how we went from he'll be back in a week to season-ending surgery. This sort of thing seems to always happen to Bulls players.

I had the opposite reaction. They'll absolutely use this as an excuse to run it back.

I said this in a previous post: Sham's tweet says Zach consulted his agent (Klutch) before he decided to get surgery. It makes me think that he could've gutted this out and waited until the off season, but didn't want to. Why? Maybe it's to avoid a trade like one to Detroit? Or maybe he thinks that he'll recover, have a good off season and then show what he can do next year? Or maybe it's something else?

It was announced Lonzo will join the broadcast tonight. My first take was they’re doing it so close to the deadline to make a “run it back” excuse when he says he’s doing well
