Carter (along with Craig) is just another example of Billy not having a clue how to capitalize on a players strengths and mitigate their weaknesses.

Also another example of Billy alienating a veteran player.

Lavine, Carter, Craig, DJJ, WCJ, Lauri, Gafford, Drummond.

Hell, to some extent even Vuc and PWill.

The only player who seems to blossom with Billy is Demar.

Carter isn’t as bad as he’s played for us, but BD got in his head and destroyed his confidence. He desperately needs a change of scenery.
That is BD's biggest talent

Carter and Vuc have been alienated because they got consistent roles for an entire season despite being atrocious at the the one thing they're supposed to be good at (shooting)?

If anything Billy should have alienated them way more. Vuc especially has been very heavily catered to. Very rare to see a guy that bad get that many opportunities.

The Vuc honorable mention was for the exact reason you stated. But yes, I meant to say "alienated or mishandled"

This. The team had more than enough guard depth. Why they didn’t sign a PF instead is puzzling.

They signed Craig for the PF spot. Yeah they choose not to have a bigger PF for some reason, haven’t had one since Theis.

For one he as never that good, never understood why everyone was clamoring over him wanting him and then in love with him when we signed him....he's a 3rd string PG on good teams....two he struggled with his shot and creating so why play him when we arn't making any serious run in the playoffs.

Honestly this team needs to embrace a direction this summer...the never ending cycle of mediocrity at the 8-10 seed is killing the franchise
