Yeah this was an embarrassment to get blown out like this. Miami had the easiest game of the year.

Disappointing, all that hard work all year just to get killed in the play in game by the same team as last year.

Making the playoffs would have been great for the players especially the young guys. Just sucks to get that close but fail once again.

Changes need to be made, AK would be crazy to run the same team again with the same coach.

At the very least…Gotta move Vuc for a rotten potato, and consider moving to a coach less interested in literal NCAA rotations (6’4 PFs and starters averaging 40 mpg).

We need to fire Billy, trade Zach, Vuc, Carter and Caruso, re-sign Demar, Patrick, and possibly Drummond depending on what centers we have after the draft and trades of Vuc and Zach.

Which pick do they have now ? and what are the odds to move up ?

11th.
9.4% to move up to top 4.

Continuity.
Coach bad
FO bad
DeMar re-signed
No changes
A bad draft pick
Still no PF

There is a lot to complain about the upcoming off season.

First thing to do is to move that little soft bitch.

Should have traded Zach for a rim protecting big who has some decent motor.

Nothing.

Not allowed to complain, have to just deal with it because this is the way it is and embrace it.

This is fine, the team is fine.
Go Bulls... I guess!? Right!?

I'm not surprised, the Heat are a better team than us.

We had a good first half offensively imo, generating a ton of wide open 3s for good shooters that just didn't fall. But because they weren't dropping we changed the way we played in the second and let the game get away from us.

Oh well, we weren't going to do **** against Boston anyway

11th pick now, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 and 2.8 odds for the first 4 picks.

There is really no point to keeping DeMar except to use him as trade bait in February. He is gonna be 35 years old on a team with no future.

Exactly we will able complain about the exact same roster coming back and AK expecting a different result. It’s insanity. Can’t even be excited about Zach coming back healthy because he will simply be traded(for poor return) even if he looks like an all-star again. We have no hope. Williams will never make the jump with DeRozan and Vuc hogging all the frontcourt shots so forget about him making a Coby type leap.

Spo had the right game plan. He blitzed, daring the Bulls' ballhandlers to be good enough to beat the blitz. They weren't. This team looks alright for most regular season games, and even in a post-season situation if playing a low-defense, low-BBIQ team like Atlanta. But put the pressure on and splat.

But come on, we all know that. Coby is an off guard. Ayo is an off guard. DDR is an off guard/small forward. Caruso is a defensive specialist. The team needs a true PG. Has for a long time now, except for half a season when Lonzo was playing.

I don't think Lonzo is the guy to break down a defense. He wasn't racking up the assists nor even running the offense.

One thing no one really talks about is that half season when the Bulls were good, the league had a league wide mandate to swallow the whistle. The Bulls came in with this high energy, swatting defense where they were getting tons of turnovers and that's where Lonzo shined (in transition). The league stopped the swallow the whistle thing and the Bulls started coming back to the pack.

Even if healthy, I don't think this team would emulate what it did for that half season.

Very disappointing game.

Knew the Heat would still be tough game, did not see a blowout happening.

In my view DeMar played well, and that's really pretty much it.

You can see it in the tweets from Stephen Noh - Miami focused hard on DeMar, heck they even had Bam guarding him for most of the game. Gameplan was clear - make anyone but DeMar beat you. I feel like to start the game we were generating open looks, our guys just couldn't hit them.

On defense we just couldn't manage their off ball movement combined with their pick and roll.

We were out classed.

The Heat's plan was to make anyone but DeMar beat them. The rest of our starters shot 17-48 (35%). 8-30 on 3PA (26%) with a lot of them being open looks.

Time to discuss the million different directions this franchise could go this summer.

True, he wasn't a half court king, but he was closer to the true thing than what we know have.

we don't have much movement in our offense schemes. Spo been doing the blitz the PnR Bulls since Rose was here. He was just an elite athlete who could spilt it. Those are the teams Spo specializes against.

Only team that had the right gameplan and roster construction last season was Denver. Aaron Gordon and Jokic made them pay for that overly aggressive defense.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Why can’t we just play the ATL hawks every game?
