Monday, June 18------------------- 7:05pm
Cole Hamels, LHP (9-2, 3.47) vs Cliff Lee, LHP (3-4, 6.04)

Scouting Report:
Phillies: Hamels became the first National League pitcher to nine wins by beating the White Sox his last time out. He nearly managed his third complete game of the season, going eight innings and leaving with a comfortable 7-2 lead. Hamels allowed two earned runs, both coming on solo homers in the first inning. He pitched a shut out after that, striking out eight. Hamels has never faced Cleveland.

Indians: Lee snapped a four-start losing streak by battling through five innings against Florida on Wednesday. He allowed three runs in the first inning, but shut out the Marlins for the next four frames to keep Cleveland in the game until a late rally earned him the victory. Lee is 2-1 with a 4.76 ERA in three Interleague starts this season. This is his first career appearance against Philadelphia.

Tuesday, June 19---------------------------- 7:05pm
Kyle Kendrick, RHP (0-0, 4.50) vs Jason Stanford, LHP (1-0, 1.50)

Scouting Report:
Phillies: Kendrick made his Major League debut on Wednesday against the White Sox and gave the Phillies exactly what they needed. Filling in -- maybe for awhile -- for the injured Freddy Garcia, Kendrick went six innings and allowed three runs. He left with the game tied, and the Phillies eventually pulled out the win. Manager Charlie Manuel hasn't cemented Kendrick as a starter, but the move is expected soon.

Indians: Stanford's the tentative choice here after throwing brilliantly in a spot start Thursday against Florida. Stanford, who had been out of the Majors since undergoing Tommy John surgery in July 2004, was called up from Triple-A Buffalo to fill in for the recently demoted Jeremy Sowers. He responded by limiting the Marlins to one run over six innings, striking out seven and walking none. He said he used fastballs and changeups for all but two of his 89 pitches against the Marlins, was 4-1 with a 3.41 ERA at Buffalo. Manager Eric Wedge said he'll decide Friday or Saturday whether Stanford will get the start here.

Wednesday, June 20------------------- 7:05pm
Jon Lieber, RHP (3-5, 4.21) vs C.C. Sabathia, LHP (9-2, 3.19)

Scouting Report:
Lieber followed up his best outing of the season with his third loss in four starts. The right-hander shut out the Royals on June 9, but gave up six runs in five innings against the Tigers. Lieber gave up three hits during his shutout, but 33 combined hits during the three losses that sandwiched it. Against the Indians, he is 2-0 with a 2.75 ERA in his career.

Indians: Sabathia was the tough-luck loser for a second straight start on Friday against Atlanta. The left-hander, who gave up just three runs through eight innings, gave away the lead -- and the game -- by giving up a pair of runs in the ninth. Sabathia lost his only previous career start against the Phils, giving up three runs over 6 2/3 innings.
