After Thome hit that 2 run homerun in the first, Tribe being the comeback kids are currently putting up 6 runs in the 2nd.

I could get used to this. I hate Buerhle as well for him plunking Hafner a couple of years ago anyway, so this is doubly sweet.

And Victor Martinez goes down trying to steal second on a passed ball. Looks like a hamstring injury. Ugh, Cleveland luck.

Even if Marte somehow takes that third base job, Casey Blake should have a spot on this team until he's too old to do this stuff. For some guy that was kicked around until finding a home here, he's learned an awful lot of positions for the sake of the team. He's damn good at all of them defensively too. Another clutch hit for him on the 3 run double after Chicago tied the game and seemingly had it won in the top of the 8th. I can surely see some White Sox player/fans complaining about the calls from the umpires in that inning. It was close on the play at the plate, I'll take it. The call on Cabrera now, that changed the whole game. It's a call I wouldn't expect to decide Opening Day. It is what it is and you take the win. Crazy Opening Day and a WIN.. Go Tribe. Go Fausto on Wednesday.

I was listening to Hamilton on the radio when Victor went down. He said the Indians were calling him day to day. So hopefully it's not worse than that tommorow.

Return to Cleveland Indians
