I just flew home for Games 3 and 4 (and ended up only needing tix for game 3, which was more than fine with me) vs. the Phillies. The crowd at Coors was nuts - it was so much fun! I unfortunately had to get back to AZ for work so I couldn't stay for the NLCS games at Coors. However, since the D'backs also won, I am now fortunate because I can still see Rox play. I got 4 tix to games 1, 2, 6, and 7. I'll be there, decked out in Rockies gear with 3 fellow Rox fans. We will be as loud as possible, and hopefully help root on the Rockies to a win in game 1 and set the tone for this series. I'm very excited about going to the games, and I feel good about our chances. Let's do it.... GO ROCKIES!!

1) Nothing controversial about the interference call. Umpires are always lenient on that, but when you stand up and shoulder him, give me a break.
The funny thing is, that it wasn't even a double play ball, all Upton had to do was accept that he was out, and the D-Backs have runners on the corners with one out.
I don't know how much it would have changed things though, D-Backs probably get one more run, but they were out played the whole game, I don't see that play being the difference between a win and a loss.
I agree though, the umps usually are fairly leniant on that rule, which is why it is rarely called. But come on, he was no where near the bag when he finished his "slide". Good call by the Ump, and great win by the Rockies!

2) Clint Hurdle pulling the guys off the field was over dramatic and lame.
3) Huge win.
I disagree he said he did it because enough was enough, once he took the guys off the field they stopped throwing stuff so it was the right call. Throwing stuff on the field because you don't agree with a call was over dramatic and lame.
