2008 Predictions

Well, we've managed to go five months without a post on there (that has to be some kind of record). We're a week out from the start of the season, at St. Louis. I think a common prediction is that the Rocks are in the hunt for a playoff spot this year, but generally the end of last season was something of a fluke.

What do we think? It's going to rely on the pitching, as it always seems to. Can Jimenez and Morales continue to progress? How is the bullpen, can Corpas continue the stellar play that he showed last season.

I'll go out on a limb and guess the Rockies win the NL West this season.
