I do not like Raburn every time a ball goes to him i cringe and everytime he bats i cringe the tigers need to trade him at deadline or A.s.a.p. and get someone who can play major leauge baseball.

Pretty classic Raburn. He never hits in the first half of the season and never will. All you can do is hope he breaks out of his slump earlier than normal

I would personally be playing Worth or Santiago ahead of him but I'm not Jim Leyland

Why trade him when we can just give him away for free to one of our division rivals like we did with Clete Thomas?

Thomas had no plate appearances with the Tigers this season, but appeared in three games before being designated for assignment on April 12. He has a career batting average of .253 in 145 games with the Tigers.

the Tigers would rather keep Raburn batting.080 and play him every day .Go figure ? someone should be fired for being so stupid.

If you want to compare apples to apples you need to compare Rayburn's last 145 games to Thomas'. I'm no Rayburn fan but it's not a .253 to .080 comparison as you're suggesting. There's no great distinction between the two.

Does anyone really think he will keep that up? Some start hot, some start cold, but in the end it usually averages out.

I'm not getting to worried just yet over letting Thomas go, or Raburn's sub-zero bat. It's a long season.....

Leyland's faith in struggling Ryan Raburn was put on display again Monday when Raburn was his choice to start at second base against right-hander Blake Beavan .

Leyland remains steadfast in his determination to get Raburn out of a slump that included a 1-for-13 home stand.

"I'm just playing him," Leyland said.

Just awful. I honestly wonder what more (less) Ryan Raburn has to do to play himself out of the lineup. There has never been a leash this long, for a player with this little talent. And to think, they were willing to run Brandon Inge out of town - with a much bigger contract to swallow. Boggles the mind.

I wonder who we are going to call up to take his place. In my mind we need someone else who can play in the infield.

And the call up is...Omir Santos? What the ****? Rather alarming news for me. Avila's knee must really be acting up.

I'm glad Santiago and Worth will be the 2b now. Thank goodness

Leland will never stop playing Raburn that his pet boy who has something on him.Raburn could be batting .100 and leland will bat him second in lineup (go figure)

I say release Raburn right now when Dirks is called up.
