9-2 win!
congrats Fredi on your first win
I love Messenger, Owens, Lindstrom this year in the pen this year
hopefully Tank comes back strong, add in Kensing (rumored to be coming back around the All Star Break, chances are it'll be 2008) we have some power arms in the 'pen for a long time to come.

Anyhow, how did our De Aza look in CF?
And are they going to show a replay of the game, tonight or tommorow?
De Aza looked good. Didn't really notice him in CF....which I guess is good because he didn't make any mistakes. Last Fri I went to the Mets-Marlins spring training game and he made a nice catch.
Batting...he hit good. He looked to bunt a few times but also hit a ball over the LFer so he's a threat to hit the ball anywhere. Had good speed...making a triple look easy. And easily scored from 3rd on a sacrifice flyball to LF. He looks like he can be a big impact player. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Patterson was terrible out there and the rest of our team paid the price. With the exception of the third inning he looked like he should be in a AA camp not the majors! Well tommorow you face the guy who looked like our best pitcher in Spring Training (Shawn Hill) so we'll see how you do against him. Also hopefully Nook Logan will be available so I don't have to see Snelling suck up the place again.

Olsen goes for the fish tonight. We have a very good chance of starting the season 2-0.
btw, what's Uggla's contract like? Was it a 1 year tender they offered him last off-season, or did they sign him to a long term-deal? (though I have a gut feeling, it's a 1 year deal)
