Predict Marlins victory total

Post#1 » by Lane1974 » Mon Apr 2, 2007 2:04 am

last year they were 78-84

I predict a similar year - 80-82

you can't expect all the amazing performances of last year to be replicated, and we were very healthy for the most part

however we do have an improved bullpen, I think

next year is our jump year

The Sophmore Slump is bound to hit us. (hopefully not though)

But our entire cast of rookies last season, played above their heads.

Whether that happens again this year.......

~61 :(

I say about 75 wins and that's if the starting rotation holds up. It is a tough division, one of the best in baseball.

If all of our rooks from last season, go through the sophomore slump, yeah. :-?

But I'm thinking positively; our last rookie who did extremely well was Cabrera, even in his 2nd year. -- So if that trend follows suit, I'd up our win total. 71/72 maybe.

90+ wins. I even expect us to make a trade or two later in the year.

If our Pitching Staff can produce like it's expected too, and the bullpen can at least give us better outings than it did last year, can we atleast contend for the WC?

We're 1 'consistent' power bat away from being a 'very good' team.

If willingham steps it up like he did tonight, we can become a factor in the NL east, combined with the return of JJ,
