He's pretty much finished, and it's the 1st game.

Pretty sad.

Wheeler should be the closer. Garner is a stubborn fool. Just put Wheeler in that spot, and make Lidge a 6th/7th guy like Qualls, or demote him, or trade him. He will just repeat last season again, he's already done it in the first game.

Not to say he won't have just as many/more good games, I think he only actually blew 4-5 saves last year, but...

Time to get his ass out of there, this is pissing me off, Oswalt worked so hard, Oswalt prolly would of even had another 20 game winning season, but the bullpen, and the closer just SCREW IT UP!

Our bullpen will be pretty solid, like I said, and it wasn't bad last year outside of Lidge. He just can't finish it off anymore, he gets 2 outs then chokes it away.

Guess he wasn't needed tonight since Oz went 8. You'd think Lidge could close it out, especially after getting 2 outs but...

apparently not.

This sucks, this **** is just (Please Use More Appropriate Word), the same thing happens every night, the pitcher chokes, and then the offense chokes, and then outta no where watch someone like Laroche just seal the deal and hit it out!
