Astros @ St. Louis (3 game swee, err...Series!)

Post#1 » by RaoulDuke79 » Fri May 4, 2007 10:09 pm

Aight, let's get this show on the road.

Tonight we got Chris Sampson facing off against Adam Wainwright, in a battle of 2 mediocre teams trying to get on the winning track and prove to the rest of the league they are in fact not mediocre even though they are.

I predict we win this series, because that's how the Astros roll. They lose 9 out of 10, then win 8 out of 10, only to lose 7 in a row and on and on.

GO ASTROS! COME ON OLD MAN, GET CLOSER TO 3,000!

And of course:

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Ok for some reason it's Williams tonight not Sampson but whatever, 1-0 good guys, Biggio with another hit, let's go Disastros!

Ya no joke...i wasnt suprised that the rockets lost....i feel that the stros are finally havin some fun since they have a couple of guys on there team that can drive in runs...Pence looks like he has been hitting major league pitching before he came up...the future looks BRIGHT in center fieild for us.

Yea I really like Pence so far, my god what a difference from Burke.

Berkman is starting to hit now, we just need our pitching to keep us in games and eat some innings so we can rack up a few wins and hang in there, get back to .500.

Any word on when Jennings is going to be ready to start his comeback? I tell you, if he comes back feeling good, and by some miracle Rocket chooses us, watch out in the 2nd half, because you know we'll probably make some trade and we do have some talent in AAA, we could be a pretty competitive team come September.

But, we got to keep winning now, get back to .500, none of this win a bunch of games, then lose 9 out of 10 crap.

We need to start speading out the scoring evenly over a few games instead of thes 10 plus run explosions followed by practically nothing.
