Ensberg to be traded by next week?

Post#1 » by wadero » Tue May 15, 2007 3:36 am

Richard Justice was on 610 today and he states that he would be suprised if Ensburg isnt traded by next week. He said he was told by a reliable sourse (whatever that means)Any thoughts on what we could get for him?

Didn't hear this but it would be great news if it's true, that would mean alot more consistant playing time for Lamb/Loretta(that will help our offense), and hopefully they get a decent pitcher or something in return. Another decent starter would make me happy.

I understand he won't bring back anything significant, unless maybe we package a few prospects with him, but we shall see.

I'm thinking all he would fetch at this point is an end of the rotation guy or a decent minor league prospect who should be pretty close to a call up.

Def. and when Biggo gets his damn 3000 hits, we can finally bench him and play Loretta, just imagine this lineup, so powerful it would be:

Berkman
Loretta
Lamb
Pence
Lee
Scott
Everett
Asmus

I hear in the offseason that the Angles were really interested in Ensberg, thats his home town too, Cali, just send him there, and give us Colon, lol.
