LBJ agrees to a one and one deal with the Cavs

Post#1 » by kenneth9265 » Thu Jul 9, 2015 11:00 pm

LeBron inked a two-year deal worth $46.97 million. He has a player option after the first season. The Cavs and LeBron now have full bird years. With the salary cap increasing, James is eligible for a five-year, $204 million contract beginning in 2017-18. The deal would begins with James earning $35.6 million in the first year of his deal.

He will make $ 22.97 million for the 2015-16 season, and $24 million for the 2016-17 season. Then it is believed that he will go for a 5 yrs/$204 million contract....

Considering the revenue that LeBron alone brings a franchise, he's easily worth more than twice what he'll be be paid starting net offseason. It's pretty crazy.

well I'm glad the first 200m contract in the league will go to a player worth it.

wasn't Juwan Howard the first 100m contract? Pretty sure he was. Just bad.
