Good for you.

I am not.
Bad for me.
So you would rather have Stevens than Strus?

I would rather have La Mar than any other player.

Saving Ricky, maybe.

The Spurs just waived him.

Yep, I kinda feared that... I texted it to his Twt account.

So disappointed now with Pops/Buford as I was with JB/Koby.

This would explain why he has so much wear and tear on his body.Image

No, it wouldn't.

Nope, he hasn't.

Get well soon, Ricky.

Vaguely reminiscent of KLove walking off team USA after embarrassing himself and risking being cut; but who knows.

At least the Cavs have some options if Ricky hangs them up. Kind of psyched about CPJ ... we lack players with an athletic profile on the team who weaponize it other than Mitchell.

Walking away from the Spanish team is a bad sign IMO. I just think his body isn't doing what he wants it do anymore and he's struggling with ending his career this way.

Not looking good. I was really hoping, for his sake, that he might end his career on a higher note than this:

Hope he gets what he needs. Always potential for a return, but its look unlikely

I'll wait and see.

Addedit: La Mar under exhibit contract with BOS Gaelics. Hope he pass the cut.

On Media Day, Koby Altman was asked about Ricky and he said that his absence is excused and there hasn't been a conversation about retirement. Pretty much just news that there's no news.

I see you found the Celtics thread about him, seems like Lamar is already racking up Tommy Points before he's even put on the jersey.

So many years with the late Heinsohn behind the mic, they're basically born & bred to love scrappy players.

Man... I know its serious, but its surreal see him hint at it, even through text. I'm just glad he's doing better

I guess this is a Farewell.

Soar above and put on
The fire in your unleashed heart

Now beyond the dawn

Until I can love this world you are in once again
Even if my life ends, carry on

The miracle that the bond created
