Was ugly down the stretch but Cavs needed the win. Ant played horrible.

Allen lived at the FT line.

We have now beaten Dallas, Boston and Minnesota in these stretch of games, while losing to the Knicks (missing pretty much their entire team), Chicago, and Atlanta.

This has been a very confusing stretch of games for Cleveland. I’m happy we’re beating the top teams but there’s still glaring issues that concern me.

The offense down the stretch was very stagnant and predictable, doesn't bode well for playoff basketball but i guess we'll see if Jb has anything up his sleeve.

Garland is coming around and that's more important than just about everything.

Agreed, very important for us that Garland regains his form.

I know scoring wise it is Garland's first game of 30+ since he returned and only his 3rd of the season but I would say 6 turnovers on 8 assists and 2 of 10 from deep isn't great. Hopefully he puts it more together before April or we'll see what he looks like when Mitchell and Mobley get back.

He was defended all game by Jaden McDaniels and when he got past him had to deal with Gobert, so, no easy task without Mitchell. He fed JA a lot and he didn't shoot well either but drew a bunch of fouls. Garland also took 7 free throws, the most since getting his jaw broken.

I want to see him full out weaponize his 3pter, but a couple of years ago he was just winning us a lot of games and Mitchell was supposed to be what got us over the top - not just through the regular season.

So yeah, the hope is the extra touches helps him re-find himself.

You don't get credit for an assist on free throws and Garland is primarily responsible for Allen's free throws. Also, McDaniels is great wing defender. There are maybe a handful of guards in the NBA who can successfully run a PNR against McDaniels and Gobert.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Yeah, i watched the final 6 minutes of regulation and all of OT. I'm just saying yes, let's give him his flowers BUT if we wanna be successful in the playoffs the other 2 areas will need to be cleaned up.

All legit points... the playmaking was there, the turnovers still need to get lower, and he needs to lock in his shooting.
