Whoa whoa whoa, calm down there, Kurkjian.

Kurkjian is far too nice to tell Manfred to suck his dick.

Why not walk Kepler with 1 out to set up the double play?

I’m also starting to think if it’s a tie game in extras in the bottom of the inning, I just walk the first guy automatically to set up a bunch of force outs and the double play.

Oh well. At least we didn't get no-hit.

Braun's at-bat in the 9th was some of the most embarrassing attempts at hitting I've seen in a while. Not even the DH can save him.

That was a really fun game to watch;
1. You got to see great Brewer pitching (for the most part)
2. You got to see Maeda with the near no hit
3. You got to see a 9th inning come back
4. The extra innings were perilous the entire time, edge of your seat baseball

Would have been one of the best wins I could remember, had we pulled it off

Braun smoked quite a few balls in Chicago. You can’t expect it every game anymore, guy is well past his prime. I’ll still take what he brings offensively over 50% of the league.

Can’t believe he was 100% ready to go when they started up. Hopefully they can get him going for the last third of the season.

It's going to be interesting given the short season. Understandable that he's struggling as a flamethrower coming off TJ.

I think they'll have Spring Training next year to decide whether he's worth like $5-6 million.

Believe it or not, our entire lineup was hitting over. 200 at one point last night. Wasn't sure I'd ever see that day again.
