Brewers/Tigers Series
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: Brewers/Tigers Series
It's crazy how much the schedule lets up this month vs. how it really toughens up for the Cubs/Cards. That said, the Cubs are decent but man they keep catching schedule breaks (a series a while back vs. the Dodgers when they had 100 injuries, missing the front of the Padres rotation).
We are in pretty good shape, all things considered. Need to take care of business, though. Maybe one more Adames-type acquisition if we're looking good in the race in a few weeks/month.

Nobody asked, but I would still sign that contract 100 times out of 100. It got close to giving the Brewers their first World Series and very well could have.
Some weird stuff happened (maybe hampered by finger injury in 2019, COVID 2020) where he probably would've given us at least one above-average season in there...but he's basically just above replacement level now as an expectation. Still a good defensive player, now lacking at the plate. I would have expected his play/ability to stay healthy to decline in the final 2 contract years, which it seems to be.
Hopefully JBJ returns to career norms as a below average hitter instead of garbage and he then basically fills Cain's role there.

Seemed like the brewers played the Padres, dodgers, cubs, cards a bunch to start the year and fared well. Now the schedule eases up for the crew. I don't think the pitching can continue to have these ridiculous performances and will regress slightly but hopefully the offense will improve a bit .

Lauer cruises through the first until Adames lolligags a throw on the third out that extends the inning and then Lauer completely falls apart.
