The realistic options left beyond Snell and Montgomery aren't exactly inspiring but I do think this makes a lot of sense with Miley already being dinged up.

Doesn’t Clevinger have some assault backstory or incident? Lorenzen I think was half solid with Tigers last year before being traded.

Obviously I'm not happy that he's hurt, but I think with guys this age + all of the depth they have that they weren't expecting much from all of these guys, including Miley at his age.

If they sign somebody like Clevinger cheap, this is going to be the ultimate bullpen/piggybacking team. Peralta is maybe the only guy that goes more than 6 innings more than occasionally.

I mean, it's obviously a really good sign if you think it shows that they know something we don't about his recovery, but how much can you really know at this stage? Maybe the surgery revealed that the damage wasn't as bad as originally thought?

The Dodgers remain interested in Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames, a league source said, though the Brewers have been reluctant to move the 28-year-old pending free agent.

The only thing I ask is that Lux isn't part of the package back to Milwaukee.
