Honestly one of the dirtiest slides Ive ever seen, like had the intent of hurting his ankle. Then telling him to cry about it...eh Hoskins looks awful here to me

They even reviewed it and said it wasn't a violation, you're overreacting.

The review was surprising. I dunno about dirtiest I've ever seen, but it was a dangerous slide.

Brewers fans would be freaking out right now if the roles were reversed, we know that. Review shocked me, that was an awful look

-Freddy ties the franchise record for Ks on OD
-Chourio gets his 1st hit, stolen base, & RBI
-Yelich hits a bomb
-Megill & Payamps don't give up a hit
-Abner Uribe gets the save
-Hoskins calls Jeff McNeil a crybaby
-Pat Murphy gets his first W

1-0! That was fun
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Fun game. Not gonna lie. Not having Woody and now Williams kind of put a damper on the season for me. But I'll get over it.

McNeil is almost universally getting dragged on twitter for being a puss.

Turang can be valuable if he's used this way late in games.

at worst a late slide, he "scraped" his ankle. might be the softest overreaction ive ever seen. cleats were down and not up.

Lol, thats because he is a Met. Also you must be in an echo chamber on twitter because Hoskins is getting railed on my timeline. It was obviously really dirty and unnecessary, also benches clearing was unnecessary. The way baseball teams go about stuff like this is always super weird. Facts are it was a late slide and he slid 5 feet past the bag into the dudes ankle, any objections? Thats just what happened.

That's why I made the post on here, tryna be objective and avoid an echo chamber, I immediately knew it was extremely dirty but Brewers fans would defend it or just ignore it. Like I said we all know what we are saying as Brewer fans if the shoe is on the other foot. Lucky McNeil wasn't injured or this would be a whole different story.

If it would have happened to the Brewers I would have forgotten about it hours ago and moved on with my life.

I didn't even figure out the Brewers won until 15 mins ago  this is not a big deal to me. I mean I got responded to and I replied hours later, sorry for responding to quotes I guess? And that would've been after you made 8 posts on internet forums and 3 posts on twitter haha. I'm a Marquette fan so more hung up on that, though I don't let sports ruin my day like I used to.

It was blatantly dirty, anything else is mental gymnastics. Wanted to call it out that I hated that and not a great way to introduce me to a new Brewers player. NBD. Have a good weekend
