Brewers/Reds Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Apr 7, 2024 9:58 pm

Could be Miley on Wednesday

Monday - 5:40 p.m. - Ashby vs. Ashcraft
Tuesday - 5:40 p.m. - Ross vs. Montas
Wednesday - 5:40 p.m. - TBA vs. Greene
Thursday - 12:10 p.m. - Peralta vs. Martinez
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The Brewers haven't faced a lefty since opening day and aren't scheduled to this series either
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

It's a bad time to be Gary Sanchez

He's also been the only zero on the roster so far to start the season

He's on the team to play against lefties and give Contreras an occasional breather. Hasn't really had many opportunities to do either of those yet.

We really need starters to fill out the rotation and Ashby is a good candidate. Would be huge for him to step up and earn a spot. Miley back should help as well. Adding one starter at the deadline is feasible but if you need to fill 3-4 spots you're kinda ****

Sure would be sweet for Ashby to have some success. He was a guy I was kind of banking on this year as a decent back end starter option. Now is as good of a time as any to start showing the potential he did to earn a contract.

Defense doing no favors for Ashby in the early innings

Can't tell if he's pitching poorly. 3 errors on Hoskins in 4 innings...

That's the worst 4 inning defensive performance I've seen in a long time. Hoskins has made a mess of this game.

This is starting to get interesting. A lot of good swings and hard contact right now

Come on top of the order. Step up. Bottom of the order has been doing everything tonight on offense.
