Not much going for Chourio lately. Baseball is hard.

Tonight was rough, but he's got an .853 OPS the previous four games. Four hits, two walks, five RBI.

Ortiz had a hell of a game. Keep showing the Orioles they made a mistake.

Im still not sure how the Brewers landed Contreras for Ruiz.

Ruiz had -17 defensive runs saved and a 88 OPS+ last season. He was demoted this week.

It's still relatively early, but it's shaping up to be an all-time terrible trade.

Yeah lots of prospects bust and it's not like Ruiz was some super blue chipper. Thats why it was weird at the time they were able to land a 24 year old C with several years of team control who already had shown he could hit MLB pitching for him. Like why didn't some other team jump in as the 3rd party or the As simply keep Contreras?

This is different than something like the Yelich deal. In hindsight it was super one sided but at the time it wasn't a bad package for the Marlins and I understood why they made the trade.

Would have liked to see Ortiz out there again given the game he had last night

They're letting a good number of dick high fastballs by [an RBI comes in] and you know what I'm perfectly fine with the approach so far.

I know they'll give him a decent leash but Hall is going to end up in the bullpen at some point.
