Finally he pitches a scoreless inning. Now time for the offense to get some more runs.

I just knew we would do nothing yet again. Delgado should not be hitting clean up. Franco should not be DHing. We should not be swinging at the first pitch every freaking time. Down and Willie need to be slapped around.

We need more guys like Polanco on this team. Glavine is the worst starter in our rotation. Ace my ass.

Glavine you deserve to be getting pounded. Willie really should be fired. Glavine is pitching like **** and he waits until the game is over to make the change.

done watchin today.

you guys have to calm the hell down. we were in the NLCS last year. we're still in first now! fire willie? come on. glavine IS the ace of our staff. he had one off day.

some of you guys amaze me. every team goes through slumps. no team is perfect.

Glavine has been our worst pitcher this year.

coming into today...

Player TEAM W L ERA G GS CG SHO SV SVO IP H R ER HR HBP BB SO
1. T Glavine
NYM 5 3 3.36 13 13 0 0 0 0 80.1 79 33 30 9 3 25 41
2. J Maine
NYM 6 3 2.78 12 12 0 0 0 0 74.1 59 23 23 6 0 34 66
3. O Perez
NYM 6 5 3.21 12 12 0 0 0 0 75.2 58 35 27 10 4 26 70
4. O Hernandez
NYM 3 1 1.94 8 8 0 0 0 0 51.0 29 12 11 5 2 18 35
5. J Sosa
NYM 6 1 2.64 7 7 0 0 0 0 44.1 29 13 13 4 0 15 27

glavine is our ace. sosa will not keep this up (as much as i'd like him to he'l hit planet earth). el duque is not reliable/usually injuried. maine this is basically his 2nd year. perez is still a question mark, although he's been really good this season.

Not looking at stats, but I feel more comfortable with the other 4 guys on the mound than Glavine. Him not getting win 296 can not be blamed on the offense anymore. He don't have the win, because he puts the team in a early hole. Here comes the tease comeback.
