PHI Jamie Moyer, LHP (5-4, 4.23)
Phillies (28-29) @ NYM Tom Glavine, LHP (5-3, 3.44)
Mets (35-20)
Scouting Report:
Phillies: A few bad pitches did in Moyer during his last outing, against the D-backs, including the first pitch of the game. The lefty gave up a home run to Eric Byrnes on the game's first pitch, and also served up an eighth-inning blast to Arizona's lead-off man. Mark Reynolds also took Moyer deep and the veteran was handed the loss despite lasting 7 2/3 innings.
Mets: Glavine was his usual consistent self last Wednesday against the Giants, his seven innings of three-run ball good enough for his ninth quality start in 12 tries. But in what's becoming an alarming trend for the veteran lefty, his solid performance again wasn't good enough for the win. In three losses this season, Glavine has allowed a combined seven runs. He'll look to turn things around against a Phillies team that he's already beaten twice this season.

PHI Adam Eaton, RHP (5-4, 6.28)
Phillies (28-29) @ NYM Orlando Hernandez, RHP (3-1, 2.20)
Mets (35-20)
Scouting Report:
Phillies: Eaton suffered through his shortest outing this season against the Giants on June 1. He lasted two innings and allowed five runs and four walks. All five runs came in the second inning, including a grand slam. Eaton had lasted at least six innings his previous four starts.
Mets: Hernandez broke his 19-inning scoreless streak on Thursday against San Francisco. The right-hander allowed two runs in the first inning but threw six shutout innings to lead the Mets to a win. Since his return from the disabled list, El Duque has performed well in his two starts, winning games against the Marlins and the Giants. Philadelphia, however, could give him trouble. Last year against the Phillies, Hernandez posted a 11.08 ERA in three starts, with a .375 BAA.

PHI Cole Hamels, LHP (8-2, 3.55)
Phillies (28-29) @ NYM John Maine, RHP (6-3, 2.81)
Mets (35-20)
Scouting Report:
Phillies: Hamels pitched his second complete game of the season on Saturday against the Giants. In the process, he became the first National League pitcher to eight wins. Hamels allowed five hits and two runs, while striking out five. He didn't get a decision in his first outing against the Mets this season, going six innings and allowing two runs.
Mets: Maine was on the right track in his six innings against Arizona on Friday, striking out seven batters -- just one strikeout below his career high. Maine only allowed five hits on the night. The pitch he described as his one mistake in the fifth inning resulted in a two-run homer and the only runs earned against him in the 5-1 loss. For his career, Maine is 3-0 with a 2.35 ERA in four starts against the Phillies.
