Even though we lost....

Post#1 » by Jose7 » Sun Jun 17, 2007 12:00 am

The team finally showed some heart and grit. I think that ninth, aside of Bustedtron's horrible AB was a good sign. Gomez and Reyes had excellent ABs even though Mo got squeezed on a couple calls, it was like that ALL night. And I think tomorrow we are going to beat Chan.

the NYM are fine.

my only concern is Carlos Delgado. WTF is he doing.
Beltran's been pissing me off lately. but a 0-6 day would piss any fan off.

they or atleast 1 of them need to start getting into a tear.

Gomez as some young shades of Reyes, and Reyes is a superstar.
Glavine is frustrating, but i think he'll turn it around eventually.

Every time I look at Beltran, I think of a deer in the headlights.

Delgado, I see a decrepid old man.

Julio Franco, I see a trilobite fossil.

I think Beltran is hurt, there has to be something wrong with him. I don't think there is any other reason for him playing the way he is. He is not even having good ABs or even drawing walks.

I think it would be better for the team to give him some rest or DL him, because he is hurting the team.

We are in trouble. The sched. doesn't let up. I'm still shocked we lead the division. But if we can't bust out of this slump, we are NOT going to be in first in two weeks...
