Kudos to Clippard

Post#1 » by AirPaden » Mon May 21, 2007 3:32 am

The kid pitched an amazing game tonight. He had great location with his pitches and he was very poised for a 22 year old. Clippard stymied a good hitting Met team. He also helped himself at the plate.

Let's hope that this is the start of something good, like a winning streak!

Peace

Yea i didnt know his delivery was like that but as previously mentioned in does resembles lincecums's and its deceptive.

He pitched great out there

Will the Yanks send him back down anytime soon? Cause im hoping he stays in the rotation until Hughes comes back and then maybe you can put him in the bullpen. But i dont know about that

Well I'd say that he has Rasner's place for the time being. He and DeSalvo probably have one or 2 more starts each before Clemens comes back, and one of them will likely keep their spot until Hughes comes back. As of now I'd say DeSalvo stays, but I prefer Clippard,

I'd say his delivery reminds me of Shawn Chacon.

Why does he fall off to different sides of the rubber depending on the pitch he throws? I know its too late to tip anything off but still...
