Soriano 2nd base?

Why can Soriano go back to 2nd base? it will solve the 2nd base problem and he also doesent want to dh so why not?
he cant be that bad.....

I think that notion has already been kiboshed by the Yanks...it's been reported by a couple outlets. But yeah, that was one of the thoughts that popped into my head as well. I think the problem is that Soriano is no longer as quick as he was when he last played that position for NY...10 long years ago (yeah it's been that long...traded in 2003 for ARod)...and even then he wasn't necessarily the greatest 2B. At 37 and having not played 2B semi-regularly since 2005 (he's only played second 4 times total since the start of the 2006 season) just don't see it.
