Kid's got talent, let him snap out of it. Jesus christ if this kid does one bad thing everyone wants him sent back down to Columbus (remember the series against Boston a few years ago). He has a beautiful swing, and is an above average defender with an above average arm.

The kid has a .438 OPS through 75 at-bats. It's safe to say that he needs to work this stuff out in the minors. Or in a low leverage situation. Not a game where the tying runner is at the plate in a rivalry game versus the Boston Red Sox.

Who has the bigger chance of driving in some runs: the guy with the .438 OPS or the guy with the .819 OPS (Phelps)?

Will you stop at nothing to defend Joe Torre?

I didn't see the whole game, I had my grandma's surprise birthday party. I was just looking at the box score, Melky didn't even play yesterday....explain.
