Oakland a win-win for Manny?

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Fri Jan 27, 2012 4:31 am

The A's are possibly the best situation for him. Manny has a 50 game suspension to serve, but he won't have much pressure on him with the A's, not that he would anyway, so it allows him to just turn his image around. He uses Oakland and maybe it helps the organization fill some seats. Thoughts?

A's managing partner Lew Wolff said Thursday that he's open to the idea of signing Manny Ramirez. Source: John Shea on Twitter

I doubt that Ramirez would serve as any kind of draw anymore

He looked bad in Tampa last year before he was busted

I doubt he'd fill many seats. The guys done.

The A's ranked last in attendance, Tampa 29th, but Manny would probably draw some fans.

With the way things went this off-season for Oakland I expect them to rank last in attendance again no matter what.
