Phillies load the bases with no outs and have Utley, Howard and Burrell coming up. They only manage to get 1 run out of it on a sac fly by Utley. Hope that doesn't come back to bite them, but you pretty much know it will. At least Cole continues to pitch well.

Our relievers blow. I'd trade whoever I could to get 2 relievers who won't give up 8 runs in 2 innings.

Phillies have no excuse to start off this badly, if you want to get into the playoffs you have to get off better than 1-6 (how we started last year).

Good God Almighty. Not for nothing and I'm trying not to troll but I honestly thought you guys had at least a semi-decent bullpen. Why was Rollins so confident?

That was thorougly embarassing. Wagner retiring our 3/4/5 only made it worse.

I'm worried about Howard though, they're all starting to pitch him differently and he is not adjusting.

It's only the beginning of the season, Mavs started out 0-4 as well, but this needs to be changed quickly.

For the most part, yeah. I for one was cussing Willie's name for pitching to him in such a crucial situation. Howard SHOULD NOT BE PITCHED TO and I bet he never gets another shot to beat us that way again. Thank God for 'Ol Brick Hands, er, JRoll.

For those of you worried about Ryan Howard, please refer to last april and chill out.

Mets fans are becoming more irritating than Yankees fans.

And yes rollins made an error yesterday, but he's still a better over all ball player than jose reyes contrary to espn (and the phillies own anouncers) need to felatiate him at every possibilty

Kiss my ass, Mets.

That's pretty pathetic.

Not only could they not score on Gordon in the 9th, but they actually let Adam Eaton and Antonio Alfonseca beat them the 8 innings before.

And yes, I'm talking sh*t. The Phillies won and I'm glad it was against the POS Mets.

I've got a feeling that a) I won't be, b) the Mets are overrated and you'll soon find out, and c) you're a troll.

If you're so sure that the Mets are going to be great then why the hell are you trolling these boards?

Go away and enjoy the World Series, the Mets have already won it.

I'm genuinly interested in the Phillies seeing that your boy JRoll proclaimed them "the team to beat[up]". So I don't really consider it trolling. I COME IN PEACE.

Sad to say that we're probably gonna have to run Gordon into the ground (2-inning outings) if our relievers keep screwing up. :banghead:
