Seattle Mariners v. Chicago White Sox

Post#1 » by Sweezo » Sat Apr 21, 2012 1:44 am

Game 1 is a matchup between Hector Noesi and Chris Sale. Sale's pitch count was up early in his last start against the Tigers, so hopefully the team makes him hit his spots instead of going up there and just hacking. This is the type of starter that seems destined to give us trouble...

Kudos to those who did something better with their evening than watching this game. The M's were out of it instantly as Noesi served up batting practice and had no rhythm. Not all bad though...Erasmo Ramirez was solid again, while Iwakuma came in for the first time and looked pretty damn good with the exception of a HR served up to Adam Dunn.

Oh god man i cant hear this "pops up in the air" phrase anymore lol. Not one of our players has a hit, 15 of them got retired straight.

No one has a hit, no one's been on base...we're 9 outs away from falling victim to a perfect game by Phillip freakin' Humber.

Well, on the bright side I was going to go to the game today with my girlfriend but she decided to get some OT at work. As bad as it is watching this thing on TV, it would have been much worse paying $100 to watch it in person.

The only thing worse than a perfect game would be a perfect game broken up by Olivo in the 9th inning.
