Series Threads: Anaheim Angels v. Seattle Mariners

Post#1 » by Sweezo » Wed May 16, 2007 3:34 am

I don't care where they say they're from...they're the Anaheim Angels.

Good start to a most important series so far. The M's offense just destroyed Kelvim Escobar, and some guy named Felix is on the mound. Not a bad time to be an M's fan...with Felix back, perhaps this team can turn the corner and take over the division.

He was on a 70-80 pitch count...and he met his limit. I'm glad the organization followed that since the game was long decided by that point.

Oh, and both White and Davis did their jobs. Davis may have gotten lucky on a strikeout call, but he'll fill the Mateo role well enough.

He'll be pitching as a normal part of the rotation and his pitch count will be 85-95 pitches next time out, I believe. Sounds like he suffered no ill effects from pitching the other day either.
