It shouldn't have come to this, bizarre rotation, absurd plays, not a single Luka/Lively P&R, THJ creating off the dribble, Green initiation drives, I have no clue what they were doing.
One thing good from this game, Maxi moved his feet well on the perimeter, Powell too, but benching Lively for these bizarre expirements was inexcusable.
Thank the refs BTW, they helped the Mavs a lot...

Agreed on everything but the refs. That supposed goaltending call against us was all time bad for example. I thought it was reasonably balanced refereeing.

Exum should try not to score because 2 games in a row he scored a basket and immediately gets yanked . The rest of the game I look at alll these minutes going to guys who cant get or create a basket .
Mavs have to cut out the loyalty to guys that are struggling before our eyes.

Yeah it's weird. He made a nice transition dunk and played some good defense and for some reason never saw a minute again. Doesnt make sense.

He has to. It’s only fair. If he can’t do it that he’d have to admit he’s not a Mavs fan and is just a Dwight hater. Low key Dwight and D Live were kinda the guys to truest help Luka out tonight.

Dwight Powell is single handedly responsible for probably ageing me 3-5 years with his bad play over the years but tonight in the second half he came up big. To be fair I don't quite hate him to 41Dirk41s level though

We have to give Powell props. He played good. Still makes no sense playing him over Lively since he's not a rim protector.

For sure. Lively is the best big man in Dallas and it is not close.

The lively playing time will increase he’s young

Won’t be a popular opinion, but I would stagger Kyrie off of Luka in terms of playing time. He would never agree to it, but having him come off the bench when Luka sits would be nuts. Just let him go crazy with the second unit.

I would also like to see Williams shoot more.

That's pretty much what's been happening - I'm confused - are you watching a different Mavs team? 99% of the time when Luka sits the offense runs through Ky.

100% on the aging and I want him shot outta a cannon into the sun. He deserves his props tonight tho.

See but all I’m saying is that y’all anger is directed at the wrong guy. Dwight does his best but is give a role he’s not good enough for.

Fun to see the Luka and DFS bromance throughout and even still since theyre apparently grabbing dinner. Like Luka said, I'm sure they'll play again together someday.

I know we won but... can we fire Jason Kidd yet?

On a positive at least the Mavs are winning tight games, seems like last year they lost almost all of them

And the negative,Kidd's rotations suck...seems like he's stuck to his rotations, can't adjust, can't set up plays for Players...he's Just letting Luka and Kai try to make something happen....most of the other Players don't have the basketball IQ those two have and need set plays to know where to be ,what to do if D adjusts

He is totally reliant on assists for his shot ...it's a big reason the Mavs are "lucky" to have him

Lively is promising, and his feet is quick. One area he need to improve is the rebounding and box out ability. He is supposedly to be playing some bully ball, 2 rebound is quite disappointing.

What terrible coaching AGAIN by the egg head. Just terrible. He got lucky that Luka was hitting his threes.
