Well, he might want to win a title or two, don't see that happening in Dallas right now.

Still not a good reason to gift him to Denver, sorry.
If he asks to be moved, Dallas just trades him to the higher bidder.

Anyway Luka doesnt strike me as that guy who would take the easy way just to win a chip as the Robin on another megastar's team.

Right now we are definitely not title material but ihmo they are on the right path to build a legit contender.

I don't believe Luka will leave Dallas easily, but if he doesn't see bright future, he will be out very quickly, because he's only interested in winning.

Agree, if Dallas struggles again he will asks out for sure but at the moment it seems they are in a good position to give him a competitive team, next months are gonna be crucial to understand how good this core is and to add talent in the summer to make it a legit contender..big names are not necessary, Denver docet, they were pretenders until they acquired players like AG, KCP and BB.

The biggest Mavs problem is having 2 stars on the same position. Mavs would have been much more competitive, it they had very good wing instead of Kyrie.

Denver will have two max extensions in Jokic and Murray.

Actually MPJ is on a max and in a couple more years he may be up for another.

How do they fit in a 4th contract over at least $35 million a year?

They have a very rich owner but he's only willing to go so far in a smaller market.

They are also out of picks till 2030.
It's really not a realistic scenario, most likely scenario is Luka signing the supermax, and traded later to a loaded team (OKC, Jazz, etc...) if things don't look good in DAL.

It's funny, Cuban wasted Luka first 5 NBA years and no one was worried and now that Nico assembled a good roster everyone messed up

Prime Spurs/Taptors Kawhi would have been deadly next to Luka... but that's just a dreams

Is it fake or real? Luka was on vacation with Kidd? Or it's just a photoshop?

Finally Luka has a team around to show his damage!

That 3rd qt starting against PHX remind me Luka against Clippers in G3.

This year he has a chance after Lively, Gafford and PJ. Without good defense around his greatness cant be shown enough.

For a long time I was sure Luka was going to leave Dallas, and I didn't really blame him.

Now I think differently, I don't think he's like Dirk who's just loyal though. I think he wants to be seen like Dirk though as someone who wins with the team that drafted him, or at least not someone who joined up with other stars. As long as the Mavs don't screw it up so bad that they're not a playoff team I think he will stay. They did good at the trade deadline, but Kidd is probably not the answer if you want a championship.

Absolutely mind blowing video about Doncic's crazy season. I think we're not even aware how crazy good he has been this year.

Some important pics from the video.

Negative numbers actually go in favor of the player in this picture. Compared to another MVP candidate who people say is having a much better year than Luka.

And combined stats of Points, Rebounds and Assists.

This guy's videos are very good, and he's a fan of Luka.
Luka would've been MVP twice if he:
1. came into 21/22 season in shape.
2. didn't have the Kyrie/Lively/Exum injuries this year, that made the center position pre trade and PG position paper thin, or if the the FO went for PJ in FA instead of Grant Williams and traded for Gafford from the start.

The fact he's also battling a guy who is in conversation for GOAT level peak isn't helping him.
