Good luck with having a 6'5 guy with 2 inch vertical as your starting PF. Hopefully your center is a massive dude who can rebound and rim protect and not Dwight Powell haha.

Well he plays "bigger" and tougher than your 7'3'' center who once donned a Mavs uniform.

Someone must be mighty bitter to come all the way here to take a **** I'd worry more about your own defense which has nobody left except Robert Williams who is unfortunately about as durable as KP.

Do you guys see a bump in his production? Or pretty much the 10 pts, 5.5 rpg, 2 apg, 2 threes and a little over half a steal on 50/45/77ish splits he posted as a starter with Boston? Would those numbers be sufficient for you?

Yep, that's roughly the ballpark, I doubt he'll hit 45% on 3, 12/5 hitting 3/7 from 3 with defending opposing forward effectively.

We have seen DFS and Bullock averages 9/10 points with Luka and they can't dribble, can't finish around the rim or take a midrange shot.

Williams is not an offensive juggernaut but he is better than those 2.
I don't expect a great bump but 2/3 points with the same % will be good.

He’s should get a ton more open looks. I don’t know if his % will increase much but his number of shots per game should go up so I could see his PPG increase simply due to more open shots. I do think he will make a great addition to the locker room/culture based on what I’ve seen from him.

fwiw, BK_2020 has said the same things about Grant when he was with the celtics. This is not something new for him. He just doesn't like the player. He'll do a lot of good things you guys need but he has his obvious shortcomings. No surprises there

I think this is one of THE most underrated gets of the summer. Rock-solid versatile defender and hits open shots…and nobody creates more open shots than Luka…great BBIQ and team guy too…finances be damned, I think BOS made a huge mistake with Smart and, especially, Grant.

IMO, Grant would make any team in the NBA better…in a variety of roles…he’ll likely fill a big one in DAL

You cant say bad things about the Mavs automatic 3rd starter who has never been an automatic starter in the NBA before.
I watched Grant Wms get in Jimmy Butlers face in the playoffs THEN Jimmy torched him BUT Mavs fans thought he's their kinda guy and penciled him in as the starter with Kyrie and Luka.
I have a big TV and League Pass and watch GWms chasing guys all game long on defense and see Dante Exum and Grant Wms standing 6'6" in shoes as the same ht except Exum is a guard and Wms is the Mavs PF who cant get rebounds.
A small 6'2" Kyrie is avg a 1/2 a rebound more than the PF GWms is,pretty bad and in the last 10 games is avg 7.3 ppg / 2.9 rpg in 30 mpg. Mavs automatic starter.

Oh no! Mavs signed 10 PPG on 40% 3P% with good physical defense and leadership for the MLE...

Get League Pass so you can see what we see ,Grant Wms chasing his assignment after he gets passed him.
Leadership doesnt matter much when this is Luka's and Kyrie's team. Also we'll be at the edge of our seats waiting on GWms 2 made 3's a game for 6 pts.

I have a league pass, and I watch many other teams he's not a quick player, he's a physical defender, blow bys happen regularly in the NBA it's not the test of good or bad defender.
I watch Jaden Hardy iso Herb Jones and go at him and score multiple times last year, it doesn't make Herb Jones a bad defender.

he's a physical defender,

and short with a short wingspan trying to see the basket on hard closeouts and when he ventures in the paint ,stops and says ,oh sh*t
