Serbians destroyed Canada who went into foul trouble very early, interesting the whistle difference, I thought CAN was even more physical against Slovenia.
Regardless of officiating, in each of the 2 games the better team won, Serbia is well coached, well oiled machine, Bogi and Mulitonov are studs, Serbias defense wreaked havoc on CAN offense, especially in non-SGA minutes who was in foul trouble.

Yep. Serbia is well rounded and a much deeper team than ours. They also have a coach who knows what he is doing lol. We have one guy who is entire offensive system and Canada used that to their advantage with a lot of help from refs. They couldn't do that vs Serbia and SGA finally faced a proper defense aswell. People have no clue that Luka plays mostly 1v5 all the time because we are that short on players.

A team with Dwight Powell starter can't win.
Simple as that....Milutinov feasted all game long

Great game by Serbia team. Bogi fantastic.

Brooks have 2 Pf against Slovenia, holding Luka the whole game and 4 against Serbia early in 3rd. That's a big difference. Sure Serbia is better team than Slovenia, but Canadian only advantage is aggression, referees took that away and they looked pretty average team.

And length, and athleticism, great fastbreak team, they are very "American" in their makeup as a team, and even w/o aggrssion they have very good defender on the perimeter, all of Brooks, Dort, NAW and SGA are good to great defenders, Prepelic punched 2 levels above his weight (Slovenians should stop calling their team garbage, their players played their heart out), and still Slovenia was down double digits.
I think the officiating was a scandal, I love the fact Luka plays for Slovenia, I respect him more for it, but just to punish FIBA, I'd skip a tournament, and watch their ratings drop for it...

Italy is too weak and without an offensive leader... 8th place is the best.

Unfortunately Luka didn't make a triple double :banghead:

Heh.. yeah wouldn't look that good with 9 TO's added. But he also didn't look too much motivated. Whole team was so up and down, Italy had every right to win as well :)

Great tournament by the Laser, 12+4 with 38% from 3.

5th Place for Latvia. Well done.

Luka was better than the Eurobasket last year, but much worse than Tokyo where he was in God mode except against France.
Vibes are much better than after Poland game despite the ejection

Yeah he had quite good stats in this tournament overall but i still felt he was far from being himself. It's like an extra punch in his game was missing.

What's up with Luka and his leg injury...he said it's still not healed...how is that possible?? He had a lot of time off before the world cup...what kind of a poor medical team do the Mavs have ?? This is your franchise Player, you should order every test possible if something isn't right

Last I checked Casey Smith was still on the team so that would lead me to believe the staff is still pretty good unless he's fallen off a cliff.
