I'd still fire Kidd, I'm sick of his crap...

Could care less they won.

I'll stick with this team being a 41 win if they keep doing what they are doing and I would happily sacrifice 3-5 wins not to see Timmy, Powell, and Maxi play to develop Hardy, Lively, and Omax.

Yes we'll hear oh you can't do that to Luka and Irving... don't care.

He sure is, one day you might just get it. The last few minutes would tell anyone who understands basketball just a little bit why he is.

What a finish, 3 point defense needs a lot of work - Lively needs more of Maxi minutes. But what a performance when it mattered.

Like Luka just said in the interview they need to defend like they do in crunchtime during a full game. It's like night and day the first 2 games.

Lively should start. Holmes should back him up.

THJ should be traded, Derrick Jones should be getting zero minutes. Give Prosper, Hardy, and Exum/Curry their minutes.

It shouldn't have come to this, bizarre rotation, absurd plays, not a single Luka/Lively P&R, THJ creating off the dribble, Green initiation drives, I have no clue what they were doing.
One thing good from this game, Maxi moved his feet well on the perimeter, Powell too, but benching Lively for these bizarre expirements was inexcusable.
Thank the refs BTW, they helped the Mavs a lot...

Kidd and Green tried their best to lose, though Green did hit clutch 2FT's... But holy **** i don't know if i can take entire season of these nonsense lineups along with THJ's antics.

Lively played great defense, Nets were too small for him, yet he went to the bench after 4 mins in the 2nd half. Freaking unbelievable. And out of time out play 3pt shot by Powell.... This game seriously had it all

We've all been there done that with these guys. Give me the athleticism over the experience all day with this current team.

Green couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn tonight. Bad shooting night from him. Ever still thought green over THJ because of shot selection.

Green actually did have a lot of good defensive possessions to end the game though. Even on the play that he slipped on the close out. The fact that he covered as much ground as he did was impressive.

I will throw a joke here: since not many good coaches are available at the moment, will you fire Kidd and hire Doc? lol

DJJ is a gimmick player, why is he wasting precoius ramp up time on him? THJ shouldn't dribble, WTF was this? He effed around and Nets suddenly became splash brothers and few absurd calls by the refs saved the Mavs, and Luka hitting 3s from everywhere and in every form.

Not gonna deal with the negativity. Lotta things to work on for sure. But we won and it was a Hella entertaining game. I'm gonna live off the high for now.

Also Lukas defense in the 4th was very impressive for a 2nd straight game.

Cam Thomas looks like Kobe against us.

That's just very very sad.

I didn’t get to watch much cause I’m on vacation in the PNW. But I had some take aways

1. Lively was not played enough at all.

2. Luka is not a complete defensive liability on defense. This is 2 games in a row where he has been really good defensively in the clutch.

3. Luka heroics saved us from a bad Green and Kyrie shooting night.

4. Dwight should get some backup minutes only 8-12 but he is still a NBA player when he gets to come in and be a energy big.

It’s not a defense issue. It’s Cam Thomas. He had 36 in the opener. He had a bunch of 40 point games in a row last year.

When he’s hot the only way to stop him is to put score him.

41Dirk41 when you see this you have to say one nice thing about Dwight because of his performance tonight.

I think DFS celebrated for a mili-second and then remebered he's on the Nets, also look at Lively's reaction.
Mikal checks for Luka under the bed every night...
