I think they should give Luka the MVP now. 3rd seed vs. 5th seed isn't that big of a gap and Joker has the better team. Assuming the Nuggets stay 3rd.

We're probably going to give OKC the #1 seed, no reason for us to try to win that game.

I am making my predictions now before playoffs begins: (just for fun)

3 NBA final outcomes in the following particular order:

1) Jokic vs. Embiid in the final
2) Nuggets will beat the Celtics in the final
3) Mavs will lose to the Celtics in the final
Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege.

Suns Wolves is going to be a war...
Interesting if Lakers throw the 1st game away to avoid the Nuggets and get the Thunder, I don't expect the Warriors or the Kings to make it against either one of the Lakers or Pelicans.

The Suns have been trying to win with wing players in sitting Nurkic in the 4th quarters . Minnesota doesnt change the way they play for any team .Thinking your going to chase Gobert off the court is fool's thinking. Gobert anchors the best defense in the NBA and comparing the Timberwolves to the Utah Jazz who were terrible defensively around Gobert is a big difference.
I dont look how Minnesota is going to stop Phoenix BUT how are they going to keep Minnesota off the boards all game long . Then they bring in Kyle Anderson and Naz Reid off the bench ....it should be Phoenix got the worst draw to play in Minnesota.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10116943-nbas-rudy-gobert-reflects-on-experiencing-racism-from-family-members-as-a-child

this is great article by Rudy Gobert about his experiencing racism from his own blood family for having a white mother and black father . There's alot of players presently in the NBA including Derreck Lively of the Mavs who grew multi racially . Kyrie grew up with a black father and a Lakota Woman from the Pine Ridge reservation. Dante grew up with a black father and Australian mother.
It's good to hear these players stories even though there not always nice but they are inspiring.

I don't Remember a PO series where Gobert was a factor... He is overrated as defender and he has 0 offensive skills (plus very bad FT shooter).

That serie against Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber was ridicolous.

Gobert is a great defender and when he played with the Jazz it's been pointed out it wasnt his defense that failed the jazz but Mitchell ,Bogdanovic,Clarkson played non existent defense . If you think Minnesota sits Gobert because Maxi comes in then you are clueless about BB.
Minnesota is not going to mess around a winning formula which is the best defnse in the NBA and 3rd best differential also in the NBA.
In saying Gobert has no offensive skillz is to point out Gafford and Lively are even worst than Gobert because Im sure both of them would be stoked to be able to get Goberts offensive numbers.

Gafford would much rather keep his offensive numbers than have Gobert's since they're better. Gobert is just bigger and more experienced but Gafford is not far behind on defense either and Lively is learning at rapid pace as well.

And mostly they play with Luka Doncic... Gobert is overrated as hell because in the PO or even FIBA he is not a factor for his team, he is just a good 31yo C.

Lively maybe but he is still raw as a rookie, Gafford averages only 3 fewer point under Gobert per game but takes fewer shots as well. We're talking dunks and put backs for both mostly.

There is a huge reason for that. Gobert plays on average 13 mins more per game. If you check per36 Gafford is ahead in everything.

Lot of Gobert hate and ignorance even though he has anchored 4 50 game winners and has won 3 DPOY he's called over rated .Makes me wonder if Luka loses to an "OLD" Clippers team again does that make his accomplishments on the court called over rated throughout the rest of the NBA also.

No one is hating on his defense, just his offense which is not a revelation. Has nothing to do with Luka or anything Mavs really. Not sure why you even care so much.

You must be a white guy because my original post was about the racism Gobert experienced by his white relatives and how the Mavs have 3 guys on the Mavs that might not have gone through as much racism but understand living biracial.
Whoosh right over your head as you went on about Gobert being over rated . You kind of highlight this kind of racism.

Smallball isnt winning any champioships. Pelicans are trying to play the Lakers with smallball and AD looks so much bigger under the basket .Look for the Lakers to win.

He has passed the Bol Bol crush and Gobert is the new one... It will end soon probably

But the guy who can't quote other users has to take out racism from this forum. Please.

McColloum and Ingram are overrated as hell.
