As long as Green doesn't play, we will have a shot.

It's a night and day difference between him and Dwight (no knock on Powell). If we had a 2nd legit big when Lively needs to sit this team would be on a different level.

The problem is that unless that second big was Turner,Allen,Robinson or Capella ,Dwight Powell would still be the backup C

I think everyone agrees this team needs another quality big so it's not all on Lively. The big issue is we have so many other holes, hard to patch that one without making another worse

I don't think the rest is too bad. Just can't afford to lose Timmys 20ppg, even though everyone wants to trade him.

The D looks good now...if only the Mavs wouldn't start games so slow, then maybe we could see some Omax and others who usualy Don't play

The effort is certainly there including Ky and Luka diving to the floor for loose balls, etc.

It always drives me nuts that Luka seems to always be the one that shoots the technical free throws. He made it but seriously why? Kyrie is right there and literally one of the greatest free throw shooters of all time.

Still think we need a starting caliber SF. Think the other starters are fine even with Kyrie being off this year.

People want to trade THJ because he does have a tendency to chuck and force things

B2B threes to close to close it out. The defensive effort by all was so much better the 2nd half.

Also the NBA app is pure trash

Credit to Powell, he's had his stubby arms everywhere in the 4th, nice work.

Luka to Kyrie for the 3 and the same in reverse. That should do it. So much for all the "they don't play well together" nonsense, really starting to look good.

Psshhhh better rest them both and throw the win away. Apparently that's the better strategy and wins don't matter.

What a win. Even Powell played great defense in the 4th. Great 2nd half.

Great defensive half - if only we always played this way.
No real criticism of any player in H2. H1 well let's not go there and go to bed on a high note.

Maybe some teams can afford to rest their stars that early in the season, Mavs for sure can't. Great win.

This year is night and day in closing games. It's so weird how much better both Luka and Kyrie are in the 4th....and also the defense. Like geez can we at least put in some of that same effort in the other quarters? Particularly the 1st quarter? So we don't have to keep climbing from behind all the time.
