One of the higher ups at work had the company season tickets to this game but he just had to cancel so me and my wife will be really near the court for this game.

The Mavs are 7-0 when me and my wife go to a game together. So if we win you can all thank me.

Did any of you notice Luka is better playing WITHOUT Kyrie?

Dončić still hasn’t been allowed to beat opponents by himself. “Luka has to lead the league in double-teams,” Jason Kidd said afterwards. “He’s being doubled for the majority of games.” According to Second Spectrum data acquired by The Athletic, Kidd’s right: Dončić has been blitzed in pick-and-roll situations — i.e., both defenders doubling him — 140 times already this year. That’s a staggering amount, and more than twice as many times as Cade Cunningham, the player who comes in second (62).

If ANT misses the game, there is hope...

I’m gonna heckle Rudy gobert. I think he’s mentally the weakest of the timberwolves players.

If our shooters make 3s then we can win.

Good test for Lively, last time he was destroyed.

Minny is solid and big, without Kyrie its quite the hurdle. I'd love to be surprised and see the Mavs pull out an upset, but hard to imagine. But would love to see Luka, Lively, and Exum continue their great play, and Grant and Timmy do their thing.

Mavs are a 1pt favorite.
Minnesota has won three of the previous four meetings.

A win tonight even though its played in Dallas would be a big deal for the Mavs. Rudy Gobert is having and MVP type season and most players are afraid to challenge him inside .
Lively is a young Gobert and Rudy knows he has strength and smarts over Lively now but its important that Lively can get his share of rebounds.
I'll be watching to see if Luka and Dante can get to the rack. Not only is Gobert healthy but McDaniels is back there as well.
Minnesota is tough inside but Dallas can soften that by hitting 3 pt daggers tonight.

I think the one that everyone has noticed more is that Luka is playing significantly more minutes without Kyrie. To the point where they almost can't afford for him to sit for a minute. That's fine for a few games but that will not hold for a season.

Nothing to worry about ....Luka is 24 yrs old and presently is 17th in the NBA in minutes played this year while presently 3rd in FG's scored only trailing Giannis and Jokic.

Luka averages 41 mpg without Kyrie. The only non-40 min game is against WAS. Take that out and your looking at almost 43 mpg. He also gets double the amount of blitzes more than the 2nd ranked player (Cade). He only averages 35 mpg when playing with Kyrie. 43 mpg is just too much minutes and responsibility for any 1 player. Hopefully Kyrie can get healthy soon.

I think theres so much potential with 3 PG's playing together (Kyrie,Luka ,Dante). Luka is 6'7" , and Dante is a hair under 6'6" so they dont really qualify as smallball. But tonight the Mavs will still have a good lineup with Luka ,Dante, DJJ, Grant and Lively.

Dante has the big task of guarding Edwards . Lively just needs not to foul because Powell and Holmes will be dominated by Minnesota's big front of Gobert ,Towns and McDaniels.

You forget to mention about Reid, who has been killing us all the time.
