I’m glad the Pj got 1 to drop because his defense on Wemby has been pretty good.

Good defensive adjustment by Kidd to let Gafford guard schohan.
Been impressed by PJ outside of his shot not falling.

He’s got a really solid floater and missed a WIDE open one in the 3rd. Some times **** just isn’t falling, or you’re off, or he’s got something on his mind out side of the sport, or he’s not feeling it. **** happens and you can’t always control it.

But what he can control is his effort and energy on defense. And his defense has been great tonight. I like that.

Yes Powell had 2 min the first half but he's back and this time as the human victory cigar.

PJ was amazing defensively, but his shot isn't falling and his confidence is shaken

I do like Dallas feeding him when they’re up this much. Let him see a few down and he will feel better.

THJ has been horrible for few games now...
Luka wasn't great today, some really bad decisions.
Hopefully everyone is healthy aftet ASB.

I think this is the 1st time since 2022 Mavs are 9 games above 0.5, amazing considering the amount of injuries.
Close the season strong please.

Double loss from the Kings is real nice though. Dallas controls their own destiny against Phoenix, if they win on the Thursday after the ASB then they have the tie breaker, are up in the standings, and have an easier schedule.

It’s the Pelicans to watch. Dallas needs them to drop a game and then if Dallas wins their last game against San Antonio and the 2 remaining games against the Rockets then Dallas owns that tie breaker too.

I want to see a healthy Dallas make a push into the top 4 and the only way to do that is get above the Suns and Pelicans 1st.

Unfortunately Kings took control of this game with a 9-0 run late

I know PJ's offense is iffy so far BUT he plays defense. That's the difference between him and Grant or even THJ. You know one dimensional players. He reminded me of Aaron Gordon that can impact the game even if he is not scoring. Again, remember, Dallas won 50+ games when they made a run in the West Finals. Offense is not the problem.
Maybe it's better not to be the best. Then you can lose and it's OK. - Searching for Bobby Fischer (1993)

3rd game for Gafford, 3rd double double, and he's playing 20MPG

We have 9 blocks today, and win the rebounding battle by double digit, how rare this happened in the past

It's that 3-D (Daniel, Derick, Dwight) center situation we have now.
OK....maybe Double-D.

I hope he's good enough shooter for 3 how Mavs are playing him.
